Camera shots I have used for my pictures

The images below are the photos that i took in my photo shoot yesterday. I picked the shots carefully and thought about how they would look like on my magazine. Even though the images may not appear on my final draft of my magazine, I still had to take the photo's like they would look. For example, the picture of the three girls posing in front of the black/blue wall (below) is a mid shot. I used this shot because it shows the majority of the girls, which makes them recognisable and also gives them a setting so that it looks more like a posed shot.

Another example of a photo that I used an appropriate shot for is the one of the girl (wearing the leopard print top) behind a table doing a 'book signing'. This is also a mid-shot and lets the viewer see what is going on in the picture rather than just a close up of her face, which especially in a magazine, doesn't show the reader much. Another reason why I used this shot, is because if i was to go any wider, it would show unnecessary space that doesn't need to be included in the picture.

Overall, I think that I chose the camera shots carefully when taking my photos. I imagined how it would look on my magazine, and that helped me to decide the best shots to use.
